During April, Catherine and I will be inn sitting in Asheville, North Carolina. We have now arrived in Asheville, and started to settle into our assignment. We have Tawsha and Sarah, our two young assistant inn keepers, making us look good. We have two housekeepers, Ilona and Theresa, who make up and refresh rooms with amazing efficiency.
The inn keeper at our first assignment told us you should not call yourself a “bed and breakfast” if you don’t have a great place to sleep and serve a great breakfast. The place to sleep part is assured, but I am still obsessing over breakfast (different stove, different cookware, not sure were stuff is stored). I always do. We have served our second breakfast this morning. Not much uneaten food has come back from the dining room, so I guess we are doing alright.
Asheville is an amazing town and we look forward to getting to know it.
